Hey guys!

Everyday we wake up, the news channels keep rolling news like "this is the new normal", "most part of the IT professionals will have to work from home even after the lockdown ends", etc etc etc.

But have we given enough thoughts on how to deal with this "new normal"?



Well, I hadn't until lately. But I have some things that we all can do apart from making picture perfect Dalgona Coffee, cooking Pani Puri at home and working out to keep up with good health.

So here are few couple of things that we can try to acquire a better personality when we come out of the lockdown cocoon. I say cocoon because alike cocoon, we will be better when we come out of it.

Here we go:

1. Vocabulary

How can we improve our vocabulary? The simple answer that most of us is Read. Be it a good novel or the tough to understand Editorial articles of a newspaper. Then there's another way, read "Word Power Made Easy". The book costs only a few over hundred bucks and it has been a great way to learn new words even when you have passed your schooling age.

Another goo d source that I feel is mobile application of Dictionary.com. It has a word of the day thing and you can get more than 350 words a year just for free. Just imagine what could you do in 2 year with more that 700 words.

Almost two years ago I started this very amazing journey that has always given me enough confidence to go out and interact with people. I am talking about my blog which I started two years back. The purpose was to go out somewhere on every weekend because I was wasting my weekends staying at home and doing nothing. It did work quite well in the beginning as there was abundance of places of my interest but with the time, my interest and the places both fell drastically.



I stopped writing and more importantly, I stopped going out. The beginning was very smooth and cheerful as I got the initial travel plans very well and made so many friends on those trips. But then I started travelling for the blog. And the blogging was no more a hobby!

Forced by the human nature of pushing ourselves till the end and not giving up is what took another year to finally stop writing blogs. I dragged my darling blog for a couple of months and then it was all again the same old introversion that hit back. Procrastinating was another issue as it made me postpone many plans.

I used to be obsessed with my coffee love and love for writing but eventually it all vanished as I did not went to any place whatsoever. Recently I came across a quote while I was in Mcleod Ganj last month and it says "Writing has unlimited power". It took me some time realizing it by myself.

For the time being, I thought of ways of travelling cheaper and more. And I am all good to go and experimenting my theories of travelling. I will share all my theories and way with you right after a while (Stay tuned!). I do not know how long will these experiments last but I do know that writing has unlimited power and I am going to go with that boost for the few months ahead.

It was all about my time since I started the blog. There wasn't much to be told as I had been a terrible blogger. ButI assure you there are many stories that are coming for you guys to read, love and get inspired to go out, unlike some lethargic introvert who stays home!

Note: It's been a long time since I last wrote something, my friend! Pardon the grammatical errors that I might have committed. It's a boring story and do not waste anyone's time by sharing it. But the for-coming   ones would be fun. Do share them.

Jaisalmer, a city full of instances of traditional Indian living. I visited Jaisalmer just after the New Year. And every other local said that it's "Season" time. I generally don't mind crowd but I go to places in "off" seasons. This ensures that the place would be peaceful and travelling around it would be inexpensive.

But it's okay, instead of looking over people, I looked  at sun, melting down it the warmth of desert, spreading around the orange-red color in the watery blue sky. Taking away all the warmth with it and leaving behind a cool breeze which waved my hair and brought some sand on my face. I know it's getting too poetic but yes, that's it. The sunset there is like that only.

Looking into my laptop with a coffee on one side and a notepad on the other, is how I am usually spotted. I don't just make my eyes sore looking at the boring laptop but I keep looking for some really good photographs to feature them in my next blog post. 

This is what I say when I get a call for job for content writer. But honestly speaking, I don't want to work as a content writer, neither do I know what does it mean.



I am, no doubt, happy running this blog as I get to go many places (which I don't) and get a learn a lot (which I don't either). This particular post is about problems I came across till now after I have started this blog. As I said "problems" so this one is going to be little lengthy. So here it goes.

The first and very irritating thing about running a travel blog is you don't really get to go some place every time you decide to go. The reason sometimes is my college and other times I just don't feel like going. But there is a crowd of around 500 people (if you have just started) waiting for your blog. You can just skip few times but they have got many others like you. People move on very soon. So many a times it feels like stressing that someone is waiting and you need to go and write. But I believe that's what I started it for.

The next thing is being a student, I don't always have extra money to cover my travel expenses (as I am not earning from my blog yet). I, several times skip the idea of going to some place. And whenever I have money, I might not have 'mood' of going out in hot summer and rather spend that money on 'chilled' beer. (if you know what I mean). Apart from time and money, there's this thing called 'duties'. Sometimes eventually find yourself stuck in some work and not being able to go out and explore. Talking of my this blog, I planned to go out on every weekend and write my experience on it. But you might get to date someone, you might want to take break and visit home or simply, you might stuck doing your weekly laundry.

A very rare kind of problem only people like me would have faced is "you go to a new place and wanted to capture a couple of good shots for your blog, your battery runs out." The smartphones today are battery consuming and bloggers (small) like me don't posses good cameras. So, I have visited places and couldn't click pictures. And without pictures, believe me, you wouldn't read me. (There are very few chances that I would visit the same place again)

I have also felt lack of writing spirits many times while writing the blog. I am not saying that I lack passion or something but it happens that you just don't want to write sometimes. Just in case you want to read how do I think what to write, read this.

As I said, problems do have a count and I can keep writing down the things I've faced. But the thing is who cares! You can also tell me your problems in comments but what would happen out of it? Try finding solution and keep your blog running. Don't just stop writing because of these kind of little things that you can easily step upon and cross.

At this point I don't understand the relevance of this particular blog post. But as I've written the whole post out of my not so good English, I will post it.

It has been a while since I last blogged. Actually I am mostly short of topics to write about. But I do have a strong imagination power. I generally don't get any trace of ideas on what to write. So I just keep downloading free stock pictures and whenever I am free (never), I simply go through all of those pics.

If any of them feels to be shown to you guys, I look at that picture for a little more while. Trying to grasp every pixel of it, my idiotic (but still working) mind keeps thinking over them. Every single thing in that picture would give me a couple of lines to write.

It's basically the "observe and write" phenomenon.

But that doesn't mean people would read. Text hardly attracts people. But pictures or visuals do. The pictures I was looking at is the thing that makes people to open up the link.

Let me here remind you that this post is not a "how to" write. This is about how I write in the times of "thought drought". Well, I could have posted few poems as I can do poetry fine enough to make you read. But instead, I keep it to myself.

If you read me often, you would know that I am a very bad and naive blogger. Actually, having a blog doesn't make you a blogger. But who would stop me if I say that I am.

So keeping it short (being a journal post), let me go and think where to go this Sunday.

Before starting, there's something about this post that you might like to know. I didn't write it in near past, it dates back to more than two year from now. While going through my old diary, I found this. It was January 12th, 2013 when I jotted it down. So here we go!!

Life is a thing to enjoy and live wholeheartedly and it should be lived that way only. Sometimes, thoughts come to our mind that life is short. But is it actually a small time interval?

Talking of spirituality (not religion), the interval of life or the duration of us to be in one body is just sufficient to accomplish our purpose. Masses have passed by without even knowing their purpose. This will keep on going until humans are captured in getting transient things rather than to have bigger goals fulfilled, which is a general nature of humans.

We keep on collecting and saving for family and in a very short moment, like a bubble pops, we would be out of our body with our family and friends sitting around, showing their temporary and much formal form of grief.

The only reason of all this formality or whatever it is, as comes to my mind, is the ocean of emotions that lies into us. The emotions are the form of energy that comes out in form of either happiness or sadness. And second reason is that we expect life to keep going as smoothly as it is. We think of it to be constant. But in actuality, the only constant thing that life has is "The Change".

From the childhood itself, we start experiencing jerks that potholes of life give us. But even then we ignore all that experience and expect life to get better and better with time. It could get better with time, but you don't have to expect that from it. This is the only reason why life keeps on teaching us until we start accepting sudden shocks and abate our emotions.

The harm or pain due to reluctant nature of us, towards the lessons of life, can be felt easily when someone close leaves this world and goes to some other world without even thinking of you for a single time. Even on losing our temporary or transient relations, we get stuck to the moment and forget our real motive, which is neither to be happy nor sad.

Life continuously provides us lesson to be stable with every incident that happens to us. And the lessons grow harder with time if we keep behaving in non learning behavior. Once you accept the lessons and get stabilized, life starts giving you what your thoughts seek for you.  

So, life is uncertain. Apparently, I am winding up right where I started from. But meanwhile, I have told you my thoughts. Your thoughts might vary. And that's okay, as we all are different forms of thoughts. 

While everybody is busy in some daily routine, cheering, upset, looking at the people passing him by, I am siting in my room calm and peaceful. After smoking up half of my cigarette, I often look at its filter butt turning dark with every puff, not letting some of the tar to pass through. Nicotine reaching up to my blood after travelling the itinerary of body, turns my heartbeat a little faster. It makes me a little faster leaving the hustle of surrounding slow and lazy.

Cigarette burning at few hundred degrees of Celsius, converting into ash line by line, finishes up. And after it has been consumed till the end, it leaves behind a mouth full of bad taste and repelling odor. Then why am I so attracted towards it? And a question come in my mind, more often than not "if it is about nicotine, then why nicotine from cigarette; why not chai?"

As i said, a question comes in my mind and never the answer. It is okay to let it spoil my health if it can provide few moments of joy. No doubt, its impacts are more serious than the joy it brings. But I rarely think of consequences.

Now, I am thinking that "chai" is totally a different source for nicotine, which I am not addicted to. I don't think I smoke for nicotine. I do for its smoke. The smoke is so peaceful, always dancing in a random fashion, footed to the burning part of the cigarette. I rarely take more than five puffs from a cigarette and let rest of it burnt just to see the dance of smoke. Denser near the cigarette, disappearing with the distance and waving all the way.

Does a cigarette fetches thoughts to my mind? NO!!

Does it brings peace to me? NO!!

Then why do I smoke? I don't know!!

And I don't want to know even. I just want to do things without any reason like I love, I stay up late nights, I sit idle and many more habits I possess. 

When out on roads, all on his own one starts feeling lonely. Lonely as he never felt before. But when he looks around, he feels just the opposite of loneliness. All around are strangers but he himself is also a stranger in the crowd. He feels that crowd to be the family of strangers. A family that has fight among its members, that has love for each other and the bonding to help each others. The family of strangers is very strange actually.

Nobody knows us, we know nobody, nobody cares about us, we don't care for anybody. But even then we all are connected. This is how travelers who seems reclusive are the most social ones. A traveler is connected to a totally different culture. He sometimes gets himself connected to nature, sometimes to metro crowd and sometimes to technically backwards.
