This Sunday,  I visited the well know peace center of Delhi, Akshardham. It's very convenient to reach there. There a dedicated metro station for it, named Akshardham, on blue line of Delhi metro. And you'll have no issue after that to get into Akshardham.

The entry timings are from 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM, Mondays closed. Now let's see what one can really do there in order to spend his time at such a peaceful place without getting bored. First point I would like to say is, It's more fun going their first time. After that, you can only go there to sit quietly for a while or with friends to share some moments of calmness and enjoyment at the same time.

It's not just a place to sit quietly, but one can have real fun their and it has a lot to consume a considerable portion of your day. You can see the exhibition, musical and very beautiful fountain show and off course the finely built temple. If you are a kind of man with independent thoughts about religion, this kind of temple is perfect for you as it doesn't follows any religion but is based on spiritual principles. The interior as well as the exterior of the main temple building is crafted by hands and it extremely beautiful.

If you cant keep yourself away from food for long, they have got food court there. This food court is okayish with the prices but is very hygienic. And it has a wide variety of foods too. Also you'll see a store having all the stuff you might want to buy. This store has again a wide variety of stuff covering from tees to spiritual books, statues to essence sticks and much like that.

One thing you should always do before going there is to visit the official Akshardham website, so that you keep yourself updated with on goings in premises and the timings for several events that occurs there. As construction there never stops, they keep on repairing things that can spoil your plans. But you don't have to don't worry about it, if you are planning after viewing the website.
And don't you bother about carrying your cameras as you wont be allowed to take any electronic gadget inside the temple. And you'll have to submit your mobile phones in cloak room which is very easy process and it's safe too.

I couldn't get any pictures as cameras aren't allowed there. But you'll find it more beautiful than pictures as real view is the one you want, pictures are just an idea of what you are going to see.
