Modes of transportation are always adventurous rides for those who travel in them. For the local people, it's just another way of going one place from the another. But for travelers, the local transportation is always a suspense. Sometimes it turns out to be a bad choice but mostly, it's fun travelling by them. Around the world, there are numerous types of such modes. Most unusual modes are here.
1. Junks ( Hong Kong)
A junk is a ancient Chinese sailing ship design that is still is use. But there have been many modifications to make them compatible for present day routines.
2. Auto Rickshaw (India)
Well, you all know how does it look. In some regions of the country, it runs on diesel but in the cities like New Delhi, it runs on CNG. Auto Rickshaws offer an awesome and adventurous ride.
3. Beer Bike (Amsterdam)
I personally found this one to be coolest of all as it offers a recreational party on the road. It has a lots of booze in it (in barrels) and the people sitting on both sides paddles the bike together. It's a creative idea of burning the calories from beer along with drinking.
4. Bamboo Train ( Cambodia)
The Bamboo Train is world's one of the most classical rail journeys. In Khmer it's known as Norry (or nori). It is fitted with an engine at back side.
5. Camel Bus (Cuba)
Mixing up a bus and a truck gives us a camel bus. The camel bus is shaped like camel. And this mode of transportation is recently called off. But while being used, this could transport up to 300 people at a time.
These were the 5 most unusual ones that I found. Go around and see yourself. One thing I'm sure of is, these look more beautiful in real than in your screen. So next time you visit a place, add its transport in to-do list.
Please don't forget to mention which one did you like the most in comments. See you guys!!
